Marielle Westerman is the managing partner of Westerman Law, PLLC. In 2004, Ms. Westerman joined the firm and in 2007 she was made a partner. At the end of 2008, with the retirement of the firm’s managing partner, Ms. Westerman took over the firm and relocated its office from Tampa to St. Petersburg.
Ms. Westerman received her Bachelors of Science in Finance at the University of South Florida and her Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson University College of Law, Ms. Westerman was a member of Phi Delta Phi, an honors fraternity, and founded the Stetson chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund.
Ms. Westerman is a member of The Florida Bar and has been admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts. Ms. Westerman is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator. She is also a member of The Tennessee Bar and has been admitted to practice in all Tennessee State Courts.
Marielle is a past president of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers. Ms. Westerman is also a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Section and its Condominium and Planned Development Committee, the Westcoast Chapter of the Community Association Institute.
Ms. Westerman has also been repeatedly named a Rising attorney by Florida Super Lawyers, an honor that less than 2.5 percent of all lawyers receive.
